Kenneth Powers, Behavioral Health Director
Ken graduated from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia in 2003 with his Masters in Social Work. He joined E. A. Hawse Health Center in January 2010. Ken sees patients in the Baker, West Virginia location as well as the Moorefield School Based Health locations and alternative school location in Hardy County. Ken is the Behavioral Health Director.
Chantell Coby, PMHNP-BC
Chantell Coby, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) joined Hawse Health to assist with providing Patient Centered Integrated Health Care. Chantell began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1996 after graduation from Davis and Elkins College and later from West Virginia University. Chantell spent much of her time as a RN in the field of Behavioral Health. Consequently, she decided to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. She earned this degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and then completed her post-masters training at Shenandoah University with a specialty in Psychiatry. Chantell is pleased to be working with a team of professionals and patients using an integrated approach. Behavioral Health, Behavioral Medicine and Primary Care are integrated at the discretion of each patient in an effort to attain the best care possible. Chantell is able to help assess and provide psychiatric care to patients who may be in need of psychotropic medications. She is able to see both children and adults in the Behavioral Health office at the Baker, WV site. Johna Secrist, LGSW
Johna joined E. A. Hawse Health Center January 2018. She graduated from WVU with her Masters of Social Work in 2017. Johna sees patients in East Hardy School Based Health Center as well as the Baker, WV facility.
Nicole Haggerty, LICSW
Nicole joined E. A. Hawse Health Center in September 2016. She graduated from WVU in 2015 with a Masters of Social Work. Nicole sees patients in the Moorefield School Based Health Centers as well as the Petersburg, WV facility.
